Poetry has always been the place where I make sense of the world—where ordinary moments become something worth holding onto. Sometimes inspiration comes from a walk in the woods, sometimes from a conversation, a memory, a season of life, or a question I can't stop asking.

For a long time, I hid my poetry in sock drawers and old journals under my bed. But my momma wanted me to share it with the world; and I'm glad that I published one volume of poetry before she left me, too soon.

Here you'll find original poetry and thoughtful reflections inspired by nature, imagination, and the human experience. I hope these words encourage you to slow down, look a little closer,  and perhaps see a piece of yourself along the way.
